How do wall spray painters work?
The equipment used for spray painting consists mainly of:
- A compressor, which, exploiting the energy produced by the electric motor, raises the pressure of the air in a tank. The air is compressed by a piston moving in a reciprocating straight-line motion inside a cylinder.
- A rubber hose, connected to the compressor and the gun, strong enough to withstand the 3 bar pressure needed to atomise the paint.
- A spray gun, a special airbrush that atomises and sprays the paint. It consists of a reservoir where the paint is placed and a metal body with a trigger that sprays the atomised material.
